When a Health Check is overdue

When you start hearing these sentences from your team — it is time.

Most clients do not arrive with a clean diagnosis. They arrive with a diffuse feeling that something is no longer right. A Health Check translates that feeling into concrete, prioritised findings — with business impact and fix effort attached.

What you hear

Typical symptoms from running NetSuite installations

  • "NetSuite has become slow — we don't know why."
  • "Reports take 60–90 seconds, scheduled scripts keep failing."
  • "Processes aren't where they should be — too many custom constructs in too many places."
  • "We pay for bundles every year that nobody can clearly explain anymore."
  • "Every small change request triggers a chain that takes weeks."
  • "The last audit raised questions we couldn't answer cleanly."
What we clarify in 3–5 days

What a Health Check actually delivers

  • Performance baseline with measurements and a top-10 bottleneck list
  • Process footprint vs. SuiteSuccess leading practice — delta with legitimacy
  • Bundle inventory with replacement matrix and € annual savings per subscription
  • License right-sizing based on actual usage
  • Governance and audit-readiness scorecard with evidence
  • Prioritised next-step roadmap — sorted by business impact

The Health Check is explicitly independent — we also recommend measures where we are not the implementing partner.

Assessment packages

One entry-level check and three deep-dives — cleanly separated.

Package 1 is the low-threshold full diagnostic for anyone who does not yet know where the main pressure sits. Packages 2 to 4 are the deep-dives — bookable individually or sequenced after the Health Check. Every package is productised: fixed scope, fixed price, written artefact.

Package 1 · Full Diagnostic

NetSuite System Health Check

The 3-day end-to-end view for Finance and IT leaders running NetSuite. Performance, process-fit, license and bundle inventory, activated features, governance. Output is a scorecard with a clear recommendation on which deep-dive is worth running — or the honest call that everything is in the green.

Duration3 working days
Price€6,500 – €8,500
TeamSenior Consultant + Finance Senior
FormatRemote · optional ½ day on-site

Scope

  • System pulse: performance measurements, error rates, scheduled-job history
  • Process footprint: O2C, P2P, R2R vs. SuiteSuccess leading practice
  • License and bundle inventory with usage matrix
  • Activated vs. available features on your tier
  • Governance, roles, SoD, open tenant risks

Deliverables

  • Health Scorecard across 10 dimensions with traffic-light logic
  • Top-10 findings with prioritisation and business impact
  • Clear deep-dive recommendation (Package 2, 3 or 4 — or "none")
  • 60–90-minute readout with the leadership team
Outcome: After three days you know which of the three deep-dives makes commercial sense — or that none is needed. Backed by a documented scorecard that holds up without us.
Package 2 · Performance

Performance & Stability Diagnostic

For NetSuite installations that have visibly slowed down — and for teams that can no longer tell whether the cause is customisation, data volume or integration load.

Duration5 working days
Pricefrom €9,500

Scope & output

  • SuiteScript runtimes, scheduled-script queue, error rates
  • Saved search, report and workflow performance profile
  • Custom-field bloat and data-volume hotspots
  • Integration load: SuiteTalk/REST limits, middleware retries
  • Top-10 bottleneck list with fix effort, 30/60/90-day plan
Outcome: A measurable performance baseline and a remediation roadmap you can put in front of your CFO.
Package 3 · Bundle Audit

License, Feature & Bundle Audit

For NetSuite clients who have lost sight of which SuiteApps, third-party bundles and license features are actually in use — and suspect they pay for functionality that is already included natively.

Duration4 working days
Pricefrom €7,500

Scope & output

  • License tier vs. actual usage (SuiteSuccess, Financials, OneWorld, user types)
  • Activated vs. available features on your tier
  • SuiteApps and third-party bundles vs. native alternatives
  • Native EMEA and GER localisation bundles as replacement (DATEV, SEPA, EU VAT)
  • Replacement matrix with calculated € annual savings
Outcome: A consolidation and cost-reduction plan — a single bundle swap typically amortises the assessment within year one.
Package 4 · Process-Fit

Process-Fit & Governance Check

For Finance and Operations leads whose NetSuite has become rigid through years of custom build — where standard and workflow construct can no longer be separated and the auditor starts asking uncomfortable questions.

Duration5 working days
Pricefrom €9,500

Scope & output

  • O2C, P2P, R2R as-is vs. SuiteSuccess leading practice
  • Workflow and custom-record footprint with replacement options
  • Permission matrix and segregation-of-duties gaps
  • Change-management and CTA governance
  • Audit-readiness score with evidence and gap list
Outcome: Process delta map and a back-to-standard path where it is economical — plus a governance score to take into the next audit.

90-day credit-back. If you move into a follow-on engagement with us within 90 days of the readout, we credit 50% of the assessment investment against the first phase. The assessment artefact stays with the client in any case — usable independently, with or without a follow-on. Optionally combinable with a Close-Acceleration add-on (3 days, €4,500 – €6,500).

From practice · Package 3

A rarely told truth about NetSuite localisation.

For Germany and EMEA, NetSuite ships native localisation bundles at no extra cost — including German chart-of-accounts templates, DATEV export, SEPA and ISO-20022 payments, EU VAT and Intrastat reporting. Many clients do not use them because the configuration was skipped during the original rollout.

For one DACH mid-market client we configured these native bundles correctly and replaced an existing paid third-party bundle with identical functional coverage.

  • Approx. €6,600 net annual license saving — falling straight to the P&L from year two.
  • Noticeably more stable system behaviour, because the scheduled scripts and workflows from the third-party bundle simply drop out in the native path.
  • Compliance unchanged: DATEV export, VAT advance return and EU VAT reporting continue to run natively.

Hard questions

What Finance and IT leaders really ask before a Health Check.

The most common objections — answered commercially and on substance.

What exactly is a NetSuite System Health Check?

A productised assessment for existing NetSuite installations. In 3 to 5 days we examine performance, process-fit, license and bundle inventory, governance and audit-readiness. Output is a documented scorecard with prioritised findings and concrete, actionable next steps.

No open-ended T&M scoping, no running advisory clock, no dependency on a follow-on engagement.

We pay annually for a third-party localisation bundle — is switching to native NetSuite bundles worth it?

Very often yes. NetSuite ships native EMEA and GER localisation bundles at no extra cost — including DATEV export, SEPA payments, German chart-of-accounts templates, EU VAT and Intrastat reporting.

The License, Feature & Bundle Audit (Package 3) builds the replacement matrix and calculates the annual saving. In one DACH case that came to roughly €6,600 net per year — plus a noticeably more stable system, because the scheduled scripts and workflows of the third-party bundle simply fall away in the native path.

Which package fits our situation?

If it isn't yet clear where the main pressure sits: Package 1 · Full Diagnostic. It screens all four dimensions in three days and recommends the specific deep-dive to run next.

If the problem is already obvious: go straight into the matching deep-dive — Package 2 (Performance), Package 3 (Bundle Audit) or Package 4 (Process-Fit). The 30-minute scoping call clarifies this with no commitment.

Do the assessments credit towards a follow-on project?

Yes. For a follow-on engagement within 90 days, we credit 50% of the assessment investment against the first phase.

The assessment artefact stays with the client in any case and is usable independently even without a follow-on — including as a reference against other NetSuite partners.

Does JPS-iQ deliver these assessments outside the DACH region?

Yes. Our focus is DACH with a senior team on the ground. For OneWorld clients with US or APAC subsidiaries we deliver from our own entities: AMER coverage through our US subsidiary on Eastern/Pacific hours, APAC coverage through our Singapore and Manila entities.

No partner chains, no timezone gaps, one consistent delivery standard across all three regions.

Who runs the assessment?

Every assessment is run at senior level. The person who signs the report is the same person who runs the scoping call and presents the readout to the leadership team.

No delegated junior delivery, no farm teams. That is the baseline for the NetSuite Business Unit — particularly non-negotiable in the Health Check context.
